![]() ![]() Musk prides himself on the quality of the software found in Tesla cars, and recently announced plans for an App Store, that would allow owners to download and install third party software to their vehicles. In most of these cases the problem has been the result of bugs in the software that drives, and controls almost every aspect of the electric vehicles. It is the latest in a string of recent recalls for the Texas-based EV manufacturer, which has also been plagued with other issues, including complaints of sudden braking. Tesla said it was not aware of any injuries or crashes related to its latest recall but NHTSA said it presents an ‘increased risk of collision’, requiring a recall.
